Oakley sunglasses have moved into the digital age. The Oakley Company has recently released the THUMP a pair of sunglasses designed after the popular Square O lifestyle sweat- resistant frames.
The major difference is that the THUMP has a MP3 player built into them. All the controls are ergonomically designed to blend into the frames’ own features. The player that is built-in can play AAC, MP3, WMA, and WAV formats. You can also download audible.com’s audio books.
The glasses come in several price points. The 2-gig version sells for $399.00 and will hold 480 songs. The 1-gig version handles 240 songs and sells for around $299.00, and the least expensive 512- megabyte version sells for $249.00 and holds 120 songs. The average battery life is 8 hours of playback on 1 charge.
